Heal #FMF

Psalm 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Psalm 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

The word heal brings to mind restoration and wholeness. However, that is the end result and often the process of healing is varied with many factors contributing to the journey. And so it is that I have come to think of healing as a journey instead of just an end result. The word heal can apply to so many areas of life: relationships, mental, emotional, physical, heart, soul, and even our stories. And God loves to be invited into the journey of healing in all of these areas. I’m grateful for the hope He gives and to know that in His time, He makes all things beautiful. To heal is to be free from evil, cleansed, and purified… this is the work of Christ in all who believe. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it! Amen.
