Capacity #FMF
Psalm 16:6 “The boundary lines have fallen for me
in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance” (CSB).
Choice #FMF
Let's choose to embrace what brings life and peace and joy and love and community into our lives and choose to let go of anything that is the opposite.
Milestone #FMF
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God's heavenly call in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 CSB
Receive #FMF
"Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for — believe that you have received it and it will be yours."
Mark 11:24 CSB
Thoughts on Friendship
Soul-deep sharing displays the power of the gospel and defeats the power of the enemy. “They overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony” (Revelations 12:11).
Live a Life Worthy of the Lord
When I consider who I want to be as a woman of God it is easy to feel like it is impossible. And the truth is, without God, it is impossible. But all things are possible with God and we were not made to do life without God. Do I believe Him and take Him at His Word?
A Divine Exchange
God is able to transform/rewrite our life stories into something beautiful. He takes the details of our lives and works them together for His design — our good and His glory!
Restore
“In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation” (1 Peter 5:10).
Lord, I praise You that You renew my strength, bring refreshment, restore my soul. You are good!
Receive from God
Spending time in God’s Word is one way that we can intentionally position ourselves to receive from Him.
“They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.” ~ Psalm 19:10
Year Round Homeschooling
I have found that year round homeschooling works best for our family. Here’s why and how we do this!
Encourage Your Heart
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” ~ Nehemiah 8:10
How can we receive the joy of the Lord? How do we walk in that joy? The joy of the Lord is unmistakable and full of glory and He makes it (Himself) available to all who follow Christ, for it is only in His presence that we find fullness of joy!
Name What Matters
“You want what you want, whether you admit it or not.”
A tool that has helped me be able to name what matters is journaling. Or maybe I should say list-making, but I do it in my journal.
My heart in writing…
I write because writing helps me notice what God is doing in my life. For me, writing is a way to pay attention, a form of prayer. Writing opens the ears of my heart and tunes my spiritual ears to hear what God is teaching me. Writing is a pursuit of meaning, of clarity, of insight, perhaps even an invitation for God to reveal Himself to me.
