My heart in writing…
Hi Friend,
I love writing. I write because writing helps me notice what God is doing in my life. For me, writing is a way to pay attention, a form of prayer. Writing opens the ears of my heart and tunes my spiritual ears to hear what God is teaching me. Writing is a pursuit of meaning, of clarity, of insight, perhaps even an invitation for God to reveal Himself to me.
If you’re reading this, welcome! Thank you for being here. Please know that I would love to hear from you. In this space I want to come alongside you as we learn and grow together. One of the ways I learn best is through reflection. I have always had a strong draw toward reflection (I love the week between Christmas and New Year’s for the purpose of looking back over the year before turning to look forward into the coming year). For several months now I have been incorporating a practice of intentional weekly reflection and it has benefited my life so much!
As I have practiced the habit of reflection I have seen how experiences and memories can become more meaningful through intentional reflection. When we take the time to reflect on our experiences, we create space to learn and understand therefore making the experience more meaningful and embracing the opportunity for learning and growth.
I invite your feedback, responses, questions, thoughts. Please drop me an email, even if it is just a sentence or two (though I certainly welcome long emails too). I’ll do my best to respond. And please know that engaging with my readers will encourage me in this journey! Thanks in advance and may you be blessed in your pursuit of knowing Christ more and more each day.
Alongside,
Christina
